Eloise Luna McAlister Obituary

 Eloise Luna McAlister, 86, resident of Cordova and former resident of the Blackjack Community in Benton County, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
  A Graveside Service remembering the life of Ms. McAlister will be at 11 AM Friday, January 1 in Blackjack Cemetery with Bro. Billy Oyler officiating. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Ms. McAlister was born October 15, 1934 in Benton County, the daughter of the late James Audrey and Anna Rogers Luna. She received her education in the Falkner Public School System and was a devoted homemaker throughout her life.
  A member of Bartlett Methodist Church, Ms. McAlister was devoted to the family she adored. Affectionately known as "Grandmother" to her grandchildren and "Mamoos" to her great grandchildren, she knew that family is where life begins and love never ends. The wonderful memories she gave her family will be cherished always and she will live on forever in their hearts.
   Survivors include four sons, Donnie Napper (Jimmie) of Boise, Idaho, Butch McAlister of Bartlett, TN, Tommy McAlister (Kellie) of Memphis and Scott McAlister of Cordova, TN, four grandchildren, Dawn Napper, Jason McAlister (Aimee), Randy Napper and Mac McAlister and five great grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Luna, Howard Luna and a daughter in law, Ann McAlister.
