James Harold Mauney, 59, resident of Topeka, Kansas and native of Tippah County, passed away Saturday December 29, 2018 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.
Funeral Services for Mr. Mauney will be at 2 Pm Monday January 14 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Criswell Cemetery near Ripley.
Born March 20, 1959 in Ripley, he was the son of the late Allen Rudolph and Shirley Nadine Holland Mauney. On May 30, 1978 he married his beloved wife , the former Tammy Blankenship, who survives.
Visitation for Mr. Mauney will be from 1 PM to 2 PM Monday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by his sons, Raymond Mauney (Oriuama), Joshua Mauney and Casey Mauney, one grandson , Tyler Mauney , a brother, Troy Mauney (Nena) and many friends and relatives that reside in the Tippah County area.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Mauney, a brother, Gene Mauney and his niece, Lisa Nadine Mauney.
Pallbearers will be family and friends and the family request that memorials be directed to the Criswell Cemetery Fund Association.
