James Randolph “PeeWee” Napper

James Randolph Napper, age 71, affectionately known to many as “PeeWee,” departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Bolivar, Tennessee.

In keeping with his wishes, private services will be held, with burial to follow at the National Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi. The family appreciates every thought and prayer during this time.

Born on November 17, 1954, PeeWee was the son of the late James Randall and Lydia Nadine White Napper. He received his education through the Tennessee Public School System and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he spent much of his working life as a wrecker operator in the Tennessee area until his retirement.

A man who appreciated life’s simple pleasures, PeeWee enjoyed spending time in his parents’ large vegetable garden while they were living, hearing from the grandchildren he loved, relaxing with a cigarette, watching television, and enjoying the quiet comfort of home.

Though he preferred a quiet life away from the spotlight, PeeWee’s passing leaves a place that cannot be filled. His family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and free from the burdens of this earthly life.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Crystal Hall (Dustin); his beloved grandchildren, Lucas Hall and Emily Hall; his siblings; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by those who welcomed him into eternity.
