John Webster Herman, 64, passed away peacefully Saturday March 30, 2024, at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
All services honoring Mr. Hermans life will be private. Ripley Funeral Home will be handling all arrangements.
Born August 6, 1959, in Chicago, Ilinois to the late George and Virgina Lee Sweargin Herman, Mr. Herman received his education from the Chicago Public School System and was a valued employee of Quebecor World Printing Company for many years.
A Christan and member of Trinity Baptist Church in Marian, Indiana, Mr. Herman's favorite pastimes included being outdoors, fishing, and listening to Rock and Roll Music. The love he had for his wife, Betty and his daughter, Lucie was strong, and it truly showed. His family meant everything, as he always looked forward to sharing time with them. Mr. Herman was a man among men for he believed in good Christan values such as helping others and working hard to provide for his family. He will truly be missed.
Those left to cherish memories include his wife, Betty Norton Herman, one daughter, Lucie Virginia Faye Herman, three sisters, Constane Herman, Caroline Herman, and Cathy Phelps, and four brothers, George Herman, Bill Herman, Rick Herman, and Jim Herman.
