Jose Aquines Obituary

Jose Aquines , 84, resident of Corinth, passed away on Tuesday January 04, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. A Catholic Mass will be from 10AM to 11AM Sunday, January 16, 2022 at St James Catholic Church in Corinth with Father Mario officiating. Arrangements will be provided by Ripley Funeral Home.

Mr. Aquines was born March 5, 1937 in Anahuac N.L., Mexico, the son of the late Bonifacio Aquines and Ma Guadalupe Jassco. He attended the Mexico Public School System and was a self employed farmer throughout his life. A Catholic by faith, Mr. Aquines enjoyed working, baseball, watching television and family gatherings.

Survivors include one daughter, Rosa Longoria (Silvano), two sons, Arturo Aquines and Jose Manuel Aquines, three brothers, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, one son, two sisters, one brother and one grandchild.
