Judith “Patsy” Mae Bradford Hancock, 83, resident of Ripley, departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Union County.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Ms. Hancock will be held at 2 PM on Friday, March 29, 2024, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service on Friday, March 29, 2024.  Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Cemetery in Blue Mountain.

Ms. Hancock was born on June 28, 1940, in Williams, Oklahoma, to the late Bardful Bradford and Mildred Bain Bradford and received her education from the Benton County School System.  She was a valued employee of the Irwin B. A Christian, Ms. Hancock will be remembered for her many meals that she would prepare for all who came to visit.  Her favorite past times included gardening, listening to music, singing, storytelling, which would make anyone laugh, and being the best “Granny” to her much adored grandchildren.

Memories will continue to be cherished by one son, Mike Hancock (Lesley) of Ripley, two sisters, Norma Jean Hammock of Bakersfield, CA, Bonnie Morgan (Charles) of Milan, TN, six grandchildren, Brittney, C.J. and Austin Hancock, Santana and Tucker Collins and Gage Luna, five great-grandchildren, a special nephew, Jimmy Hancock and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her son, J.C. Hancock, four sisters, Sallie Day, Inez Campbell, Majorie Rhodes and Carol Lou Kiddy, four brothers, Bro. Vick Hudson, Pete Bradford, Troy Lamar Hudson and Huey Hudson and her stepfather, Troy Hudson.
