On Saturday, September 2, 2023, Lisa Ann Henson Carter, 57, resident of Oakland, TN, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
Funeral Services celebrating the life of Lisa will be at 1 PM Thursday, September 7 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Trey South officiating.Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Whittentown Cemetery.
Lisa was born November 25, 1965, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Patsy Cagle Henson, of North Carolina and Sam Bibb, of Jonesboro Arkansas who survives her. She was a graduate of Avery High School in North Carolina, was employed with the Bank of America for 25 years and helped alongside her husband in the family business.
Lisa will be remembered as a sweet, kind person with a huge uplifting soul and spirit. She had an engaging personality, enjoyed flowers and watching her hummingbirds.
Those left to share memories include two daughters, Teri Barbarick and Amber Davis, both of Oakland, two sisters, Susan and Sharon Bibb, both of Jonesboro, AR, two brothers, Lee Henson of Crossmore, NC and Will Henson of Raleigh, NC and three grandchildren, Cheyenne McMurray, Chase and Connor Gibson.
