Marsha Chapman

Marsha Chapman, 58, resident of Tippah County, departed this life on Friday, October 13, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services remembering the life of Marsha will be at 12 Noon, Friday, October 20, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of The Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Cohea and Bro. Chad Bateman officiating. Visitation will be 5 PM until 8 PM Thursday, October 19, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of The Ripley Funeral Home and will continue from 9 AM until service time on Friday.  A private family burial will follow in Falkner Cemetery.

Marsha was born December 29, 1964, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Bobby G., Sr. and Jayme Lebow Chapman.  She was a 1982 graduate of Falkner High School and a 1984 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College.  She was a valued employee for Carrier Corporation in Collierville, TN for more than 20 years before retiring.

A Christian and active member of Falkner Baptist Church, Marsha was a very loving mother, sister, "MaMaw", and friend. She played a very important role in grandchildren's lives and always looked forward to sharing every opportunity with them. Favorite pastimes included the simple things in life such as Christmas with her family, word games and banana pudding. A strong faithful woman and firm believer in Christ, Marsha's life was a great loss, but we find comfort in knowing our God is greater. Her caring nature, loving personality, and sunny disposition will never be forgotten.

Those left to cherish her memories include one son, Timothy Robinson (Marah), one sister, Clydelle Chapman, two brothers, Bobby G. Chapman Jr., David Chapman, six grandchildren, Gunner, Alexis, Bayley, Bentlee, Kannyn and Jaxtyn, two nephews, Zachary Dickinson, and J. C. Dickinson.  Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, J.W. and Louise Webb LeBow, Clovis and Martha Bartlett Chapman, one daughter, Jayna Leigh Robinson and one granddaughter Jayleigh Robinson.

The family has asked that memorials be directed to Falkner Baptist Church Children and Youth Missions Fund, 61 CR 269, Falkner, MS, 38629 in Marsha's memory.
