Martha Ann Graham Gordon

  Our beloved mother, sister and friend, Martha Ann Graham Gordon, 67, resident of New Albany, passed away peacefully Friday evening May 31, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo follwing an extended illness.
  Funeral Services honoring the life of Martha Ann will be at 2 PM Monday June 3 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Bo Fletchall and Bro. Allan Fletchall officiating. Burial will follow in the Falkner Cemetery.
  A native of Tippah County, Martha Ann was born January 26, 1952 in Ripley, the daughter of the late Oakley Lee and Mamie Verdell Drewery Graham. She was a graduate of Falkner High School and continued her education at Northeast Mississippi Community College where she received an Associate Degree in Nursing.
  A Christian, Martha Ann was a valued employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County for over 23 years before her retirement. Her career in nursing was her mission in life and she showed God's love through her caring hands.
  Her family, butterflies and jewelry brought her great enjoyment. Favorite pastimes were watching QVC on television or watching NBA basketball games that included her favorite team, the Memphis Grizzlies. Martha Ann leaves behind a legacy of wonderful memories for her family and friends to treasure until they meet again.
  Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon to 2 PM at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Her memories will be cherished by her children, Lisa Dell Bishop and Daniel Oakley Bishop, both of New Albany, one sister, Mary Jane Brinkley of Tiplersville and two aunts, Anita Fletchall and Jane Gay.
  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Ann Simpson, a son, Richard Alton Gordon and a sister, Mamie Lee Graham.

Because of Martha Ann's devotion for helping others, the family request that memorials be directed to the donor's favorite healthcare charity.
