Quintin Earl Polk, Jr., 42, resident of Ripley, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Tippah County Hospital in Ripley.
A service remembering the life of Quintin will be from 2 PM to 4 PM Sunday, September 27 at 603 Northwest St. in Ripley. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
Quintin was born October 5, 1977 in Lafayette, LA, the son of the late Quintin "Bo" and Betty Jackson Polk. He was a self employed mechanic throughout his life.
A Christian, Quintin moved to Tippah County three months ago to be near his family. He will be remembered as a family oriented person who loved fishing, recreational activities and browsing flea markets.
Quintin had the belief of "everything happens for a reason" and was never hesitant to say "love you more" to his family and friends.
Survivors include his fiancee, Regina Ellsworth of Ripley, three sons, James Polk (Alexis Santiago) and Bruce Daniel Polk, both of Ripley and Tyler Polk of Gulfport, two brothers, Saint Gene Miley (Kim) of Memphis and Rickey Polk of Jackson, MS, his paternal grandfather, Red Polk of Socha, MS, three grandchildren and many close friends.
