Ronald “Ron” Wayne Meeks

Ronald “Ron” Wayne Meeks, 50, passed away unexpectedly Thursday November 2, 2023, in Tippah County after sustaining injuries from an automobile accident.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Ron will be 3 PM Saturday November 4, 2023, at Unity Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Barefield and Bro. Lane Finley officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM until Service Time on Saturday November 4, 2023, at Unity Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Born January 8, 1973, in Ripley, MS, Ron was the son of Peggy Rogers Meeks and the late Waymon Howell Meeks He received his education from Falkner High School and was the proud owner of Ron's Auto Sales for over 32 years.

A Chrisian and member of Unity Baptist Church, Ron was a faithful servant of the Lord. Known best for his compassionate heart, he was always giving to those in need. He was a hard worker and dedicated provider for his family. He had a love for cars and was continuously looking for his next trade. Ron was a devoted father to his three children and loving husband to his wife, whose favorite pastimes included sharing time with his family. A big man with a bigger personality, he was always the "life of the party" who had a contagious laugh that made others smile and feel true joy when they were around him.

In addition to his wife of 26 years, Lesley Rowland Meeks, two daughters, Brittany Coleman (Justin) and Bailey Meeks, one son, Brett Meeks, one grandson, Braydn Coleman, his mother, Peggy Rogers Meeks, one brother, Robert Meeks (Stephanie), and two nephews, Austin Meeks (Hannah) and Dalton Meeks (Haley).

He is preceded in death by his father, Waymon Howell Meeks.
