“Some love stories are so strong, not even death can separate them. Two hearts bound together on earth are reunited forever in Heaven.”
Not even a full month after the passing of her beloved husband, Mr. Felix Jones, Mrs. Sandra C. Jones lovingly joined her sweetheart hand in hand in their Heavenly home on Monday morning, May 18, 2026. Surrounded by those she loved at Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation Center, Mrs. Sandra peacefully departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.
Funeral services honoring and celebrating the precious life of Mrs. Sandra will be held at 3 PM Friday, May 22, 2026, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home, with her son, Bro. Jeffery Jones, sharing special reflections and Pastor Caleb Smith delivering the message. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Blue Mountain Pentecostal Church Cemetery with a brief graveside service.
Born October 26, 1937, in Sidney, Ohio, Mrs. Sandra was the daughter of the late William C. and Mildred Toland Weikert. She received her education from Sidney High School and, on August 29, 1970, married the love of her life, Mr. Felix Jones. Together they built a beautiful life centered around love, devotion, and Christian faith. Mrs. Sandra faithfully worked for many years in payroll with Elano Corporation until her retirement, after which she and Felix made their home in Mississippi.
Once settled there, Mrs. Sandra devoted herself fully to her family and home. She was a wonderful wife who lovingly cared for the husband she adored, a devoted mother always present for her children, and a faithful Christian woman whose life reflected kindness, grace, and compassion. A member of Blue Mountain Pentecostal Church, Mrs. Sandra dearly loved her church family and cherished every opportunity to worship alongside fellow believers, even after her health no longer allowed her to attend regularly.
Mrs. Sandra found joy in life’s simple treasures. In earlier years, she loved Saturday shopping trips, especially when they included lunch at Aubrey’s afterward. She also had a deep love for classic gospel music, often wearing out cassette tapes and CDs from listening to her favorite songs over and over again. More than anything, she loved caring for others. She would gladly go without herself if it meant someone she loved was cared for first. Her gentle spirit, selfless heart, and unwavering love made her everything a godly woman should be — a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend.
While her family’s hearts ache tremendously in her absence, they find peace and comfort in knowing Mrs. Sandra is forever healed and reunited for all eternity with her beloved Felix and the many loved ones who welcomed her home to Heaven.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Teresa Eisenburg (Bob) and Patty Griffith; her sons, Bruce Jones (Pattie), Jeff Jones (Andrea), and Joel Jones (Patricia); her baby boy, Joey Jones (Amanda); her sister, Jean Scott (Mike), eleven grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends made throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, William “Bill” Weikert.
