Sandra Dale Alberson

Sandra Dale Carter Alberson,71, resident of Tippah County, passed away peacefully, on April 3, 2023 at Diversicare Health and Rehab in Ripley.  
Services honoring the life of Ms. Alberson will be Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial following at Friendship Cemetery in Benton County.  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 5PM until 8PM and will continue Wednesday from 9AM until time of service at The Ripley Funeral Home.
A faithful member of Friendship Methodist Church, Mrs. Alberson was born May 10, 1951, in Tippah County to the late Gillus and Louise Taylor Carter.  She was a 1970 graduate of Falkner High School and was a valued employee of "The Shoe Factory", Crum's Hamburgers and D &W Nursery.  
A loving mother and "mamaw", she will be remembered for always putting others first and her strong willed personality. Her favorite past times were tending to her flowers,  traveling, attending tractor pulls, and making her famous chicken & dressing and banana pudding.
Those left to cherish her memories include one daughter, Swana Johnson (Darrell) of Pontotoc, two sons, Wallace Alberson (Vanessa), of Ashland and Clint Alberson of Falkner, one brother Kenneth Carter (Sue) of Falkner, and four grandchildren, Blake Johnson (Melissa), Casey Franklin, Tyson and Carter Alberson.  
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charlie "Eddie" Alberson and one brother, Wallace Carter.
