Sharon Ferguson "Sherry" Crawford

Sharon Ferguson "Sherry" Crawford, 63, resident of New Albany, passed away peacefully Thursday evening January 12, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County.

Visitation for Ms. Crawford will be from 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday, January 14 at Brantley Funeral Home in Hernando, MS with a Memorial Service to follow at 2 PM.

Ms. Crawford was born November 22, 1959 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late William Carroll and Eunice Treadway Ferguson. She received her education in the Tate County Public School System and was a valued employee of the Desoto County School System for 27years as a Bus Driver for Special Needs Children.

Known as an excellent cook, Ms. Crawford will be remembered for her love of sharing time with her much adored grandchildren, collecting pictures of friends and family, her sewing skills and Merle Haggard music.

Memories will continue to be shared by her children, Brannon Crawford of Tiplersville, Bradley Crawford (Amy) of Chalybeate, Brittney Crawford(Calley) of New Albany and Jerry Crawford (Kiersten) of Falkner, siblings, Bill Ferguson (Sandra) of Wakefield and Melinda Kicker (Brian) of Hernando, grandchildren, Haley (Larry Joe), Calie, Tucker and Samantha, a great grandchild, Swayze and one on the way, Dallas, six nieces, Keri, Emily, Ashley, Jennifer, Meghan and Kelsey, four nephews, Clint, Jeremy, Nathan and Aaron, a lifelong best friend, Betty Ann Byard, the father of her children, Jerry Crawford (Linda) and two loyal pets, "Baby Kitty" and "Daisy"

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lee Grissom, John Mann, Dr. Tim Thompson, Bonnie Mask, Rebecca Churchill, Dr. Shailesh Satpute.
