On June 17, 2026, Suzanne Edmonds Smith, resident of Middleton, TN, passed away peacefully at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN. In accordance with Mrs. Smith's wishes, a private cremation has taken place and the family request that any donations to an animal charity of their choice.
Born November 28, 1959, in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late David Clark Edmonds and the late Clarice Louise Foppiano Edmonds. She was a graduate of Memphis Catholic School and was employed as a South-Central Bell Dispatcher and was also a District Retail Manager of Merchandizing in the Memphis area.
Mrs. Smith loved sharing quality time with her grandchildren and her loyal canine companion, Miley. She will be remembered for listening to George Strait music, needle works and cross-stitching and was an excellent cook, especially at Christmas when she baked cookies from her grandmother's recipe.
Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Christopher Edmonds (Melania) of Middleton, TN, one sister, Angela Edmonds of Memphis, one brother, David Edmonds (Cheryl) of Myrtle Beach, SC and two much adored grandchildren, Lucas and Caitlyn Edmonds.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Wayne Smith and a sister, Lois Candler.
