Tammy Cameron Obituary

On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Tammy L. Cameron, 50, resident of Corinth, MS, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family, following an extended illness.  Services honoring the life of Tammy will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1 PM in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Hurt officiating.   Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, from 10 AM until service time in the Heritage Chapel of Riley Funeral Home.

On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Tammy L. Cameron, 50, resident of Corinth, MS, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family, following an extended illness.

Ms. Cameron was born July 28, 1973, in Tippah County to the late Roy Cameron and Katie Barnes.  She was employed for twenty years with the traveling circus and was a homemaker for family and friends as long as her health allowed.

A Christian, Tammy loved traveling, carnivals, and attending drag races. Her favorite past times included cooking, drawing, watching soap operas, playing with her dogs, and talking on the phone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Loving memories will continue to be shared by three daughters, Ashley Hodum (Cody), Brittany Williams (Cody), Leann Branda (Skylar), and a host of cousins. 

Ms. Cameron is preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, K.C. and Birdie Mae Barnes, and one special cousin, Shane Barnes.
