William Howard Franks, Jr., 82, resident of Booneville, passed away Thursday evening June 6, 2024, at Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center in Ripley. No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.

Born March 24, 1942, in Baldwyn, MS, Mr. Franks is the son of the late William and Sarah Anderson Franks, Sr. He attended Baldwyn High School and was employed in the entertainment industry throughout his life.

Survivors include one brother Terry Franks of Deer Park, TX, one stepson, Kenneth Vires and two nieces.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elona Hood Franks.
