An extraordinary man with a big personality and an even bigger heart,William Ray Bartlett, Jr., 53, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023 at Diversicare Helath & Rehabilitation Center in Ripley.
We will honor Bill's request, and hold a private celebration of his life at a later date.
Bill was born June 11, 1970 in Ripley, the son of the late William Ray, Sr. and Marian Smith Bartlett. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jan Bartlett Moraga.He was a graduate of Walnut High School,received an Associate's Degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College and was previously employed in the billing department of Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.
As long as health allowed, Bill was a faithful member of New Covenant Christian Assembly in Falkner. He will be remembered as a true friend to all, brought much joy to those around him and spread love endlessly. Known as a great entertainer, Bill loved to make everyone laugh with his ability to write songs, his artistic talent to draw almost anything and his spot-on impersonations He truly lived to bring "Love, Laughter and Joy" to those around him each day. May his family find much peace and comfort knowing our loss on earth is heaven's gain.
Blessed with a loving family, his memories will continue to be shared by two sisters, Beth Bartlett (Melody) of Corinth and Amy Mathis (Titus) of Walnut, nieces and nephews, Evan Moraga, Jon Marc Moraga, Tyler and Briley Mathis, great nieces and nephews, Oakley Mathis, Daisy and Margot Moraga, a special cousin and best friend, Susie Cormell.
