Carolyn Sue Anderson Hopkins

Carolyn Anderson Hopkins, 66, retired owner of Carolyn's One Stop in Blue Mountain and wife of the late Waymon Hopkins, passed away Saturday night, March 26, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. Private Family services are planned at a later date. A native of Iowa, Mrs. Hopkins was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed serving her customers, many of whom became loyal friends. In addition to cooking, her greatest joys included fishing and all animals, especially horses. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.  Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her daughter, Amy Kerr (Andrew) , of Hot Springs, South Dakota, her son, Jeff Ladd, of Modesto, California, a sister, Peg Claude, her brothers, Mike, Larry and Craig Anderson all of Iowa and 2 grandchildren, Abby and Andrew "Modes" Kerr. In addition to her husband, her parents Kenneth and Irene Whitehurst Anderson preceded her in death.
