Ida Mae Manuel Roebuck

Mrs. Ida Mae Manuel Roebuck, 86, resident of the Dry Creek Community in Tippah County and wife of the late Frank Roebuck peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. After an extended illness, a gathering of family and friends will be at 3 PM Thursday, July 7 for a graveside service with remarks given by Stan Kuykendall of The Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pauls Chapel Cemetery with the arrangements provided by the Ripley Funeral Home. A native Mississippian, Mrs. Roebuck was a Christian and a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Jerry Roebuck (Michelle) of Jacksonville, FL and one brother, Kenneth Manuel (Mary Ann) of Grenada; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. During her illness Mrs. Roebuck was lovingly cared for by her nieces, Ida Yon and Melinda Mooneyham, both of the Dry Creek Community. Mrs. Roebuck was preceded in death by her husband, four sons, Tommy, Harvey, Johnny and Kenneth and her parents. Her son Kenneth died on 6/12/16 of smoke inhalation when a fire destroyed his home in Tippah County.
