James Rickie Bullock

James Rickie Bullock, 57, lifelong resident of the Pine Grove Community and beloved husband of Sonya Baker Bullock, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday afternoon July 27, 2016 at his home.
  Services honoring the life of Rickie will be at 3 PM Saturday, July 30 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Boxs Chapel Cemetery in the Pine Grove Community. Born September 10, 1958 in Tippah County, Rickie was the son of the late James "Tooter" and Charlotte Smith Bullock. A Christian and graduate of Pine Grove High School, Rickie will be remembered as a person with a strong work ethic and a dedicated manager for Conaway Timber Company until retiring for health reasons 10 years ago. Rickie was an avid collector of Indian artifacts & arrowheads. He was a multitalented man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and racing anything with a motor that included vehicles, motorcycles and dirt bikes. The love that he possessed for his family and friends was unending and he enjoyed every opportunity shared with them.
  Visitation will be Friday July 29 from 5 PM to 8 PM and will continue Saturday morning at The Ripley Funeral Home until service time.
  In addition to his wife he leaves his loving daughter, Casey Bullock of Pine Grove, his brother, Mickey Bullock of Ripley and Nathan Allred, a young man that he mentored, considering him a son and who affectionately called Rickie, "Big Rick".
