Jane Daniel Crawford, 62, resident of the Dumas Community and beloved wife of Freddie Crawford, passed away peacefully Thursday evening November 3, 2016 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
  Services Celebrating the Life of Jane will be at 2 PM Sunday November 6 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Smart and Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Tippah County.
  Born January 26, 1954 in Tippah County, she was the daughter of the late Thurston and Erma Thornton Daniel. She was a 1972 graduate of Ashland High School and married Freddie Crawford on May 23, 1972 who survives. Jane was a devoted homemaker and was employed as a Pharmacy Technician by City Drug Company for a number years before her retirement 19 years ago. She was member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and will be remembered by many for her participation in area Christmas activities and for her reading of stories to the children of her community. Camping, fishing and cooking were her passions. She was remembered fondly by her family for "getting lost".
  Visitation for Jane will continue Sunday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Those also left to cherish her memory are her children, Amanda Holliday (James Allen)of Dumas, Kevin Crawford (Donna), Jodie Crawford (Erica) both of Ripley, foster daughter, Stephanie Rose (Rodney) of Walnut, a sister, Juanita Wilbanks of Hot Springs Village, AR, a brother, Gary Daniel of Ripley and 15 wonderful grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Annette Daniel.
