Jerry Wade Pannell

 Jerry Wade Pannell, 62, resident of the Ripley Community and retired Truck Operator for Grisham Asphalt & Paving, passed away Monday evening November 21, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo following an extended illness.
  Funeral Services for Mr. Pannell will be at 2 PM Friday in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Criswell Cemetery near Ripley.
  He attended Pine Grove School and was a lifelong resident of Tippah County. A Baptist, Jerry was a family oriented person who enjoyed activities that included wrestling, fishing, music, dancing and billiards.
  Visitation will be Friday from 12 Noon until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Jerry is survived by the mother of his children, Frances Dale Pannell of Ripley, his children, Michelle Roberson of Ashland, Jinney Gooch of Walnut, Jerry Daniel Pannell of Gray Rock, AR and Jerry Bradley Pannell of Ripley, 2 sisters, Stella Lowery and Meveline Tennyson, 3 brothers, Terry, Jody and Johnny Pannell all of Ripley and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Gertrude Turner Pannell, 4 sisters, Debbie Pannell, Christine Gates, Bobbie Jean Weatherly and Zena Mae Ketchum and 3 brothers, Jessie, James Bud and Junior Pannell.
