Joshawa Lynn Hopkins, 31, resident of the Falkner Community and a certified Welder, died unexpectedly Friday evening August 12, 2016 at Walnut Lake in Tippah County.
  Funeral Services for Josh will be at 2 PM Friday, August 19 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Marlow Cemetery near Walnut.
  A native of New Albany, MS, he was the son of Linda Marie Bolton Hopkins and the late Robert Keith Hopkins. He was a graduate of Walnut High School and had resided in Tippah County much of his life. Josh was a former employee in the manufacturing dept of F. L. Crane & Sons in Middleton. Josh was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for his love of outdoor activities. Xbox and collecting fossil rocks were favorite pastimes. He was a family oriented man who enjoyed activities with his children.
  Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2 PM Friday August 19 at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Josh leaves his wife, Priscillia Hamm Hopkins, his children, Shalynn, Trey and Caiden Hopkins., his mother, Linda Hopkins,all of Falkner, a sister, Shallyn Hopkins of Livermore, CA, his brothers Robert Hopkins (Becky) of Selmer, TN and Nathan Hopkins (Crystal) of Walnut, his maternal grandmother, Patricia Bolton of Auburn, IL, mother in law, Pauline Childs and father in law, Tracy Hamm, brothers in law, Darrell and Stacey Hamm. He was preceded in death by a daughter, April Marie Hopkins.
