Justin DeMarco Johnson
July 26, 1989 ~ March 20, 2017 (age 27) 27 Years OldJustin DeMarco Johnson, 27, a resident of the Ripley Community and a much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin, passed away Monday morning March 20, 2017 at his residence of natural causes following a brief illness.
Services celebrating the life of Justin will be at 2 PM Thursday March 23 at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Ripley with Bro. Clay Pritchett and Bro. Steven Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
Born July 26, 1989 in West Virginia, Justin is the son of Robin Rutherford Johnson and Leonard Johnson, both of Ripley. As an infant Justin moved with his family to Tippah County where he was a graduate of Falkner High School. Known for his contagious smile, Justin's limitations did not prevent him from possessing a strong will and a love for his family and friends with a special closeness to his sister, Jerika and cousin Caleb Cardena.
A Christian, Justin's favorite pasttimes included his ever present Ipad and watching wrestling and cooking shows on television.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his sisters, Jerika Johnson of Ripley and Taylor Hodges of Blue Mountain, his brother, Keilenn Hodges of Blue Mountain, his grandmothers, Dianne Rutherford of Ripley and Vera Johnson of Blue Mountain, extended family, Norman and Ariel Garner and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Johnson and Charles Rutherford.
