Ida Marie Wilbanks Faulkner, 75,lifelong resident of the Ripley and Walnut Communities and wife of the late Homer Faulkner, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at The Tippah County Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral Services for Mrs. Faulkner will be at 1 PM Monday, Jan. 25 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in the Community Cemetery at Walnut. Mrs. Faulkner will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her Christian testimony greatly influenced the lives of her entire family. She had a great love for fishing, puzzle books and game shows.
A visitation be from 5 PM to 8 PM Sunday, January 24 and will continue from 11 AM to 1 PM Monday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her children, Donna McClain (David), Ricky Pannell (Kathy), Vernon Pannell (Lisa) all of Ripley, Linda Scarbough (Lee) of Walnut and Buddy Barber (Debra) of Bolivar, TN, a sister, Gracie Crum (Luther) of Walnut, a brother, Bro. Fred Wilbanks (Betty) of Ripley, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded by sisters, Martha Jones, Betty Lutman, and Mattie Spencer, her brothers, Lester and Franklin Wilbanks and grandson, James
