Nell Carolyn Redding Smith

Nell Carolyn Redding Smith, 94, died Sunday, November 8, 2015 at her home in Germantown, TN.  Services will bt at 10:30 AM Friday, November 13 in Wilson Chapel at Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis. Burial will be Saturday, November 14 in Falkner Cemetery.  The Ripley Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

She was the devoted wife of 65 years to Thomas Wade Smith, a native of Tippah County, who passed away in 2012. They raised two daughters, and resided in Memphis until 1974 when they relocated to Columbia, South Carolina. in 1980, they moved to Jackson, Mississippi before returning to live in Germantown in 2001.

Mrs. Smith leaves her daughters and their spouses, Dale and Joe Barzizza Jr. and Libba and George Barzizza, four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law and many loved nieces, nephews and friends.
