Rex Albert "Scooter" Bradford

  Rex Albert "Scooter" Bradford, 45, resident of the Hickory Flat Community and heavy equipment operator , died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany after receiving injuries in a one vehicle accident in Benton County earlier in the day.
  Funeral Services for Scooter will be at 2 PM Wednesday, July 13 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in the Flat Rock Cemetery in Hickory Flat. A lifelong resident of the Hickory Flat area and a Baptist, Scooter attended Benton County Schools. He enjoyed outdoor activities that included horseback riding, camping and cooking. For many years he operated heavy equipment that included trackhoes and dumptrucks.
  Visitation for Scooter will be from 12 noon to 2 PM Wednesday at The Ripley Funeral Home. He is survived by his daughters, Samantha Bradford of Hickory Flat and Lindzy Bradford of Potts Camp, his brother , Kenneth Bradford of Rainbow, TX and his grandson, A.J. Bradford. Scooter was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Nelson and Betty Ann Holden Bradford and a brother, Randy Bradford.
