Ronald Scott Pace

Ronald Scott Pace, 39, lifelong resident of the Ripley Community and former landscaper for Clark's Nursery, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday morning, June 7, 2016 at his home after an extended illness. Services honoring the life of Scott will be at 3 PM Friday, June 10 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Tippah Memorial Gardens. Born March 6, 1977 to Ronnie and Jamie Brown Pace, Scott had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and love of the land. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and riding 4-wheelers. A graduate of Ripley High School, he will remembered for the person he was, the fun times he initiated and his love for family and friends. Scott was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM Thursday June 9 and will continue at The Ripley Funeral Home until service time. In addition to his parents he is survived by 2 sisters, Angelia McKenzie and Lisa Cockrell of Ripley, his grandmother, Luna Pace of Corinth, a niece, Paige McKenzie of Ripley and his special canine companion, "Wim-Wim". He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William "Buck" and Pauline Brown and Troy Pace.
