William "Bill" Mullins, William "Bill" Mullins, 64,went to be with his Lord on Jan. 30, 2016 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice after a long battle with cancer. Services, with Military Honors, will be at 10 AM Wednesday, Feb. 3 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial at 1 PM in the National Cemetery at Corinth.
Bill was born May 3, 1951 in Walnut, MS to the late A.C and Louise Hensley Mullins. An independent timber cruiser for 22 years, a carpenter and a US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War in '69 & '70, Bill will be remembered as a man of few words leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. A kind, loving, and patient man, Bill loved spending time with his family and many friends that he cherished.
Visitation will be from 9 AM to 10 AM Wednesday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Carolyn Barnes Mullins, his children, Kendall Mullins and Holley Williams of Senatobia, Brian Mullins of West Helena, AR and Anissa Moffitt of Fulton, his sisters, Shelia Stoner (Bill) of West Memphis, AR, Ruth Carr (Paul) of West Helena, Ar, Retia Peyer (JR) of Maumelle, AR, Shirley Mendez, Ellen Mullins, and Barbara Mullins all of Corinth, his brothers, Mark Mullins (Linda) of West Helena, Ar and Jack Mullins (Shirley) of Poplar Grove, Ar, his grandchildren, Kaleb Mullins, Anna Hale, Lexus Williams, Seth, Shane and Ethan Moffitt, great-granddaughters, Olivia and Montana Moffitt, his fur babies, Mickey and Prissy, and a host of nieces & nephews .In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanie Mullins and a sister, Betty Flippo.
Pallbearers will be Seth Moffitt, Ethan Moffitt, Sammy Moffitt, Jimmy Windham, Keith Mullins and Danny Hensley. Honorary pallbearers will be J.D. Richardson and Danny Roach.
