Mande Leigh Proctor

Mande Leigh Proctor, 33, resident of Germantown, TN and faithful child of God, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning October 14, 2016 at her parent's home in Walnut.   Services Celebrating the Life of Mande will be at 12:30 PM October 18 at Hope Presbyterian Church in Memphis. A Graveside Service will be at 4 PM at New Salem Cemetery near Walnut. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.   Born May 3, 1983 in Tennessee, Mande was was the precious daughter of Robert and Kathryn Linebarier Proctor. A native of St. Louis, MO, she moved to Germantown over 6 years ago to be closer to family. An associate graduate of Nursing School and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church, Mande had a strong work ethic that was respected by many. She had been employed by the retail food industry for the last 17 years working her way to Supervisor for Kroger 5 years ago. She devoted her life to her family, whom she loved dearly, her friends who were many, and her church, which she served faithfully. Mande will be remembered for her warm smile, her "heart of gold" and her strong Christian Faith. She never came across a stranger, and her passing creates a void that will be felt by many.   Visitation for Mande will be from 10 AM until service time at the Hope Church.   In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her maternal grandfather, Chester Linebarier of Germantown, an aunt, Donna Proctor of New Albany, an uncle, Chip Linebarier of Germantown and a host of cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vicki Linebarier and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Proctor.
