 Mark Wesley Kennedy, 26, resident of the Ripley Community, lifelong Tippah Countian and husband of Hailey Cato Kennedy, died following a tragic accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon April 8, 2017 at his residence.
  Services honoring the life of Mark will be at 2 PM Wednesday, April 12 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with friend and neighbor, Bro. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Lowry Cemetery.
  Born July 17, 1990 in Union County, Mark is the son of Tim and Sandra Taylor Kennedy. He was a 2009 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College with a degree in Tool & Dye. Mark was employed as a Forklift Operator for Profile Products, LLC in Blue Mountain and attended Mt. View Baptist Church.
  Mark will be remembered as a devoted son, husband and father who had a love for music throughout his life. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and was a member of the "Tisk Tisk" Band. He had served as a volunteer fireman for the Spout Springs Fire Dept. and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
  Visitation will continue Wednesday until service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Those also left to honor his memory are: his 2 month old daughter, Ariel Marlena Kennedy, his sister, Alora Kennedy of Ripley, his brothers, Alan Kennedy (Jennifer) of Ripley and Scott Kennedy (Kristy) of Booneville, paternal grandfather, Chester Mobley of Corinth and Bill Kennedy of Ark., and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ben & Frances Taylor of Ripley and his paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Mobley of Corinth.
