Anna Colette Needham Ford

Ashland -   Colette Needham Ford, 95, lifelong resident of Benton County and wife of the late Everette Ford, was called home to be with her Lord Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center. Services honoring the life of "Mama Ford" will be at 2 p.m.Wednesday, May 17 at her beloved Ashland Church of Christ with visitation from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ashland Church of Christ and continuing from 12 noon until service time . Burial will be in the Ashland Church of Christ Cemetery with arrangements provided by The Ripley Funeral Home. A retired manager of the Ashland School Cafeteria, one of Benton County's oldest residents and one of the founding members of the Ashland Church of Christ, "Mama Ford" will be remembered for her love of family, church,friends,gardening,crocheting and cooking. Her caring heart and giving spirit will be remembered by all knew her. She is survived by 5 of her 9 children, Cindy Lakey Phelps, Brenda Nance (Larry), Sammy Ford (Sandra) all of Ashland, Kenny Ford (Lagail)of Muscle Shoals, AL and Terrell Ford (Peggy) of Tuscumbia, AL, her sister, Helen Hopkins of Chesapeake, VA,19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 4 sons, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 1 sister and 1 brother.
