I never knew Annalisa; I heard about her through a mutual friend from GenJ. But I was able to get a glimpse of who she was - and is - through reading her blog this past week.
I lost my younger brother, Timothy, unexpectedly on May 15, 2013 - almost exactly 3 years ago. And though I know there is nothing I could ever say to ease the pain, I wanted you all to know that there are people who understand.
I still can't say that I understand why these tragedies happen. I don't have any words of wisdom to offer. But please know that I am praying for your family. I pray that you will be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding and that you will truly feel the depth of Christ's never-ending love.

P.S. If any of you enjoy reading, C.S. Lewis's "A Grief Observed" was what got me through the first few weeks.

I never met Annalisa I only just learned of her passing through a friend on social media. I truly am sorry for your loss and I will be praying for your family. Annalisa's testimony about how she served the Lord in her short time on earth was a true encouragement to me. In Christ, Emma
