I never knew Annalisa; I heard about her through a mutual friend from GenJ. But I was able to get a glimpse of who she was - and is - through reading her blog this past week.
I lost my younger brother, Timothy, unexpectedly on May 15, 2013 - almost exactly 3 years ago. And though I know there is nothing I could ever say to ease the pain, I wanted you all to know that there are people who understand.
I still can't say that I understand why these tragedies happen. I don't have any words of wisdom to offer. But please know that I am praying for your family. I pray that you will be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding and that you will truly feel the depth of Christ's never-ending love.
In Christ alone,
Marina Barnes
P.S. If any of you enjoy reading, C.S. Lewis's "A Grief Observed" was what got me through the first few weeks.

I never met Annalisa I only just learned of her passing through a friend on social media. I truly am sorry for your loss and I will be praying for your family. Annalisa's testimony about how she served the Lord in her short time on earth was a true encouragement to me. In Christ, Emma

Paolo and Family, I am terribly sorry to hear the news. When I worked with Paolo years ago, I remember the love and pride he had for his family. My family and I will be praying for you and yours in this time of heartbreak. May you find some peace in reflecting on the good times and knowing that there are many people thinking of you.
