Bobby Allen Hodges

Bobby Allen Hodges, 78, lifelong resident of the Dumas Community and US Army Veteran, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Tippah County Hospital after an extended illness. Funeral Services for Mr. Hodges will be at 11 AM Tuesday, January 26 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Lowry United Methodist Church Cemetery.
  Mr. Hodges was a retired employee of the Oil-Dri Corp. and was the husband of the late Mary Susan Welch Hodges who died in 2013.
  A visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Tuesday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Mr. Hodges is survived by his daughter, Tracy Hodges Roberts of Southaven, MS, 2 sons, Chris Hodges (Shannon) of Pontotoc and Kelly Hodges of Dumas, his step-son, Shane Young of Ripley, his sister, Gloria Ramage of Gardendale, AL, 2 brothers, Manuel Hodges of Dumas and Gary Hodges of Birmingham, AL and 8 grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Hodges.
  The American Flag at The Ripley Funeral Home entrance honors Mr. Hodges and all Veterans for service to our Country.
