Dennis Ray "Dennis" Waldon

 Dennis Ray Waldon, 60, lifelong resident of Tippah County, died Wednesday , October 7, 2015 at The Golden Living Center in Ripley where he had been a resident for the past 31/2 years. Services honoring the life of Dennis will be at 3PM Friday in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.
  Dennis was a Methodist and was employed in earlier years by Mississippi Department of Transportation and Pipkin Logging before his illness. He enjoyed outdoor activities that included hunting and fishing.
  Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM Thursday, October 8 and will continue Friday, October 9 from 12 Noon to service time at The Ripley Funeral Home.
  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Overa Hodum Waldon and his brothers, James Harold and Lee Boyd Waldon.
  He is survived by his daughter, Katherine Waldon of Walnut and her mother, Charlotte Robertson of Ripley, 3 brothers, Jimmy Waldon (Faye), Danny Waldon, Randy Waldon (Connie), all of Walnut, and 3 grandchildren, Ethan Hurt, Maura Hurt, and Briley Dickinson.
