Thank you so much for your kind words about daddy. I remember about a year or so ago, we had to remodel one of the downstairs bathrooms. I mentioned something about Lowe's and he had a come apart!! 😀
He reminded me real quick that we buy from our community small family businesses.....not "some big box store that doesn't even know my name!!"" Yep...his exact words!!
Thank you for always being there for dad whenever he needed you guys. God bless you!

I learned about Dr. Taylor's passing this morning. My Sympathy to his family. I well remember meeting and talking with him and his family many years ago when I was trying to decide on a medical practice location for myself. He and his family were very friendly and welcoming for a "wet-behind-the-years" new graduate.

My son also had professional contact with Dr. Taylor in recent years and also had good things to say about him personally and professionally.

Dr. Taylor will be missed by family, friends, patients, and by those whose life he had touched. . . no matter how briefly.

Don Ratliff, M.D.

Renie, and Jim, so sorry for the loss of your dad. I spent many a summer with your dad at our Grandmama and Granddaddy Taylor's in Derma as well as Easters in New Jersey. With his brother, James and my sister, Peg,we were the only Taylor 1st cousins. Even though we have never lived close Horton and I always stayed in touch. I will miss him. I'm sure his homecoming in Heaven with all the family is amazing. Love and prayers to you at this hard time.

We thought so highly of Dr. Taylor. He was one of the kindest physicians I've ever known. I worked with him in hospice for several years as he was our medical director. He was always kind and compassion to all he came in contact with. Our prayers are with the family during this time of loss.

I have known Dr. Taylor for 35+ years. First as the physician who delivered my daughter, then as a co-worker of sorts as he was the Medical Director at the nursing home I worked in, then lastly as a great friend. Every time we met, he had to fill me in on the goings on with his kids and then his wonderful grand kids. He and Jean were such a pair and I know they are together again. He and his great love.
Wishing you peace and comfort during this time. He was much loved.

My deepest sympathy to Renie and Jim in the loss of your dad. He was a great neighbor for 27 years! I treasure the years we all lived "on the hill" together. He was a good doctor, a good friend, and a great dad! Most of all he loved his sweet wife Jean, and he was so proud of his military background and supported any military related function he could. He has already been missed in the community through his absence and now he will be forever missed in so many ways. God be with you!
