Did anyone in attendance at Gwens funeral happen to get pictures of her flowers, quilt, and set-up? I didn't think to take any photos and now I wish I had some - I thought the service was lovely and would like to be able to look back at it from time to time. Please contact me to share if you can: Brandi Veal on Facebook, vealbrandijo@Gmail.com , or 662-587-3388. Thank you friends and family for being there for Gwen and for us :-)

It feels like it was just yesterday I was in her house playing with these little ceramic kittens she always kept under the tv for me. Every time I got out of the tub I will never forget her sitting me in the sink to brush my hair. No matter how many times I wanted to watch the movie babe she would still watch it with me. It's the little things that count the most. Always loved and never forgotten. Have fun in heaven my sweet granny. I love you...

Gwen: My first memory of Gwen was when we were in high school at Blue Mountain. Then we picked cotton together. My brother, Jimmy Hill, dated Pat for quite a while. Then in later years, Carter Street in Blue Mountain was fortunate enough to have Gwen build a house on our street. Louise Talley and I were blessed to have such a wonderful neighbor. Gwen would do anything to help. Always smiling, always happy (dimples showing)-joy was always evident. Brandy, your mother's love will never be matched on this earth. She was so proud of you!! May God's peace be with you.
