Julie Renee Stout Smith

 Julie Renee Stout Smith, 23, resident of the Walnut Community and beloved mother of Wade and August Smith, died Friday June 10, 2016 at her residence. A Family Visitation was held on Sunday, June 19 at The Ripley Funeral Home. Interment will be private and arrangements were provided by The Ripley Funeral Home. A native of Southaven, MS, Julie was born August 10, 1992 to Richard Stout and the late Cindy Jeter Stout. Julie will be remembered for her colorful personality, wonderful sense of humor, affectionate nature and infectious laugh. Photography, drawing, collecting comic books and reading were only a few of Julie's favorite pastimes. In addition to her sons, her life will be cherished by many family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Julie's life will be exemplified by the quote referred to as "The Dash".
   IT ISN'T THE DATE ON EITHER END THAT COUNTS BUT HOW THEY USED THEIR DASH, FOR THAT DASH BETWEEN THE DATES REPRESENTS ALL THE TIME THEY WERE ALIVE ON EARTH AND NOW ONLY THOSE WHO LOVED THEM KNOW WHAT THAT LITTLE LINE IS WORTH.
